General Questions
We ask that you allow us at least 2 weeks to prepare your cake. This gives us time to order in any ingredients we may not have on hand. We are a small operation, and only take a limited number of cake orders each day, so it’s best to call as soon as you can! For larger, tiered cakes, we ask that you call a month or more in advance.
Our buttercream is made with real butter, so it’s important to keep it refrigerated! Bring it to room temperature 1 hour before serving to allow the filling to soften. Any leftovers can be stored in the freezer or refrigerator, wrapped tightly. The fridge will dry out your cake quickly after being cut! We don’t use any preservatives, so if you aren’t planning on eating it all right away, the freezer is your best bet!
Currently we only offer 6, 8, or 10 inch round cakes, as well as tiered cakes. We strive to make every cake a piece of art, rather than something you could find at a grocery store. We don’t offer sculpted cakes, due to the overwhelming time commitment they entail (and they make a lot of cake scraps, and we don’t like wasted cake!)
